Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
Hi, just became a member today, purchased my CPO 2002 Sequoia Limited about 6 weeks ago and found this site due to problems I'm having. AC failure, dealer has "fixed" 3 times already, big headache since I have a 2 year old and it's been over 40 degrees here on a regular basis, and brake problems, the truck really doesn't like to stop. Hopefully I'll get it all sorted out soon as the other Toyotas I've owed and built have all been great and so far the selling dealer and my local dealer making efforts to correct my problems - although I've had to find the TSB's myself
Had been an owner of a 2001 Silver Toyota Sequoia, Found this awesome forum by googling. Seems like it had a lot of useful information so i signed up. Well ! PEACE OUT !
Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
I'm "Go Lexus," a new user. I love my LS430 (second Lexus, 2002 model), but as I was driving down the highway yesterday, the car started bumping along and I though I had a flat. After inspection, I determined that the suspension had changed to high, and the message mode says "height hi." What might have caused this?
I have driven the car today over 20 MPH to try to get the height back to normal, but it didn't work. The height switch seems to have no effect, and I really do not think I hit it by accident yesterday anyway as I was just driving normally when it happened. Any ideas?

I have an 03 SR-5 and have been reading for a while. I decided to join today. Hello to all and thanks for all of the info. I had a brake lite issue on the dash that you were helpful in fixing. I am searching for some info about the click on startups that happens occasionally with a fully charged battery. (A friend coined the mitey_whitey, when she saw the truck)

You propbably need to have the starter replaced with a TOYOTA remanufactured unit, OR you can have the starter contacts inside the starter replaced. Either way the starter has to be removed. It's under the intake manifold on a V-8.
This is a fairly common problem.
WELCOME TO TS!

Glad to have found this forum. Never used one before but this looks like a great resource. I have an '03 Sequoia and problems with VSC and ABS led me to start searching for help. It looks like a lot of folks have the same problem with not too many solutions. I'm looking for good trouble shooting procedure that will result in a believable answer as to what is needed to fix the problem.

I am a new member from Quebec Canada
I own a 2006 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with a 4 liter v6 automatic
I have a very annoying rattle from under the hood
With the engine warmed up and in gear forward or reverse under slight load I get a rattle from inside the air intake box in the back left hand corner It is driving me craze so any help would be appreciated.

Hello All Sequoia Owners!
Glad to have seen this forum. I own a 2001 Silver 4WD SR5. I was leasing my SUV and decided to purchase after taking good care of it. But after getting serviced from our nearby Toyota of Tampa Bay last week, I found out that I will need to replace my Skid Control ECU! Dealer cost is about $2K! I'm hoping to get info where I can get cheaper ECUs.
Anyway, I hope to get help from you all and I'm looking forward to sending my contributions as well.

Hello all Sequoia Owners,
I am amazed with so many proud owners of Toyota. I just exchanged by 97' 4Runner with 06' Sequoia, Arctic Frost Pearl 4x4 limited with full bells and whistles. Better yet, I got it under the invoice price with 0% financing for 4 years. I love Toyota's for reliability and I can speak for my 4runner that I just sold that I drove for 192,000 miles with no mechanical or other problems.
I hope we all will continue to support one another with our experiences and solutions on this great SUV. Looking forward to interacting with all.

Hey folks,
Just Joined. I found this site while researching a "problem" with our recently purchased 03 Sequoia. We are hearing (and feeling) a clunk noise after taking off from a hard stop. The dealership said it was from the driveshaft needing lubrication. They lubed it.
I'm not so sure, because it happened to me as I was leaving the dealership. We'll see if it goes away.
Also, we are hearing a click...click after taking off and getting up to speed. It seems to be from under the dash (very strange) But anyway, we love the vehicle and I look forward to talking with you all.
Tim

Hi yall. Just bought my wife a silver 02 Sequoia with the TRD package and we love it! It just has a little over 26K and rides like a dream. I have an 02 Tundra SR5 2WD that I bought new in March of 02 and have had nothing but a great experience with the Toyota family. I've always been a Ford man, but i don't think I'll be going back any time soon! The only problem I have is that my Tundra has about 50K on it and needs some more rubber. I just want to say that i enjoy reading the posts on this forum, so keep up the good work everyone.
