Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Owners Introduce Yourself Here!
Hello everyone.
I own an '02 SR5 with 80k miles on it.
Was finally out of warranty so I installed a Magnaflow cat back, JBA headers and K & N CAI.
Also, just replaced the timing belt, water pump and tensioner. Was nervous when I started tearing it up, but this vehicle's design made it a blast. Love the vehicle and don't want to buy anything else but Toyota.

I wanted to say hello and that I am new to the site. My name is Chris. I just picked up a 2003 Sequoia SR5 4WD and I love it. I am planning on doing a couple modifications to it. I just put in my HID kit last night for the low beams. I am going to replace the fog light bulbs with the HID kit as well to match. I am planning on doing a cat-back exhaust, headers, and an intake. Next year I would like to do a nice set of off-road wheels and some decent tires. Thanks

Hello and Merry Christmas,
Santa came early for us this year. Just picked up a 2008 Plat Sequoia two days ago. Arctic Frost Pearl with DVD,DRL, Cold Kit. This our first Sequoia and so far very impressive.
What does the tow package consist of ? Is it a dealer add on or can it be added by dealer? My model number USK65L-GKTZKA shows towing capacity of 7800 without tow package and 8800 with in owners manual. I was expecting and thought I was getting 10000 lb towing capacity. Can some one explain .
Glad to be on this forum. Hoping to learn a lot about this SUV.

Hi Everyone,
Nice to be aboard! I'm a fairly recent '07 Sequoia owner and now want to tow a travel trailer (TT). I have a couple of questions, but first my ride info: 2WD Ltd., curb wt 5200#, tow capacity 6500# GVWR, tongue wt max 650#, GCWR 11800#, wheelbase 118".
My questions:
- Can I safely tow a loaded travel trailer, of 5500-6000#, 25-30 ft. long, with this SUV?
- Your suggestions re better-quality, relatively light-wt. TTs I should consider?
- Unloaded weight (UVW) range in which I should be looking? (based on Inet readings, I'm thinking the range is about 3700-4500#.
-Would like to hear experiences from current Sequoia owners towing TTs in the 5000-6000# range (including your TT model).
Thanks in advance for information you provide....and Happy Holidays to all!

Hello and Happy New Year,
After debating a Tundra for a few months I finally put down a deposit on a Platinum 4x4, Slate 08 Sequoia. It could arrive New Years Eve. It only cost about a billion dollars. But, it does have the kitchen sink located just inside the rear door.

Hello all,
I just joined the form as a new member. I have owned my 03 Sequoia for about 2 1/2 months. I love it, but have a concern. I bought it used with 63,000 miles. This morning when I started it up and shifted into drive, the green light for the "D" was burned out on the instrument panel. Does anyone know if this is something I can replace (a bulb, a fuse, etc.) or is this something costly that the dealership has to do? Thanks for your help,
TD

Joined today with an immediate need for info on our CD player which reads an error 1 code when we insert a CD or try to play a CD. The manual says that is a dirty disk, but the error 1 code appeares with a new CD as well. I tried a cleaning CD and the error 1 code appeared then also. Anyone experience this?

Hello, this is my first time on the Tundrasolutions forum. I own a 2002 Sequoia SR5 4wd. I've been having problems with my brakes. I've replaced 7 rotors with after market parts and they keep warping causing pedal pulsing. Any suggestions? should I only be using OEM rotors?

Hi all,
I'm new and am trying this forum for the first time. I have a 2001 Sequoia, 2000 Tacoma SR5 2 wheel drive, a 1987 Camry and in process of obtaining a 1999 Lexus ES300.
I'm curious about what mileage is recommended for the timing chain replacement in the 2001 Sequoia and 2000 Tacoma 4 cyl.

TD, I have an 2001 Sequoia and our D light burned out as well. Our high beam blue light went first, the dealer quoted several hundred $ due to having to take the dash apart. We've since had some other lights go; our air bag light blinks constantly. We decided to just live with the lights out due to the cost of the repair.

Hello there,
I have a 2007 Sequoia, it looks and runs pretty good. I'm concerned about its security system for there have been several car thefths in the area.
Could you please give me some advise on the factory alarm system, could I add to the factory alarm a glass and schock sensor.
