Hello Sequoia Forum! I used to have a 2003 Sequoia limited and now own a 2008 Sequoia platinum. I love the '08 for too many reasons to list. I've been coming to this site for a year or so to look for answers and now I've finally joined. My chrome parts on the truck are already ruined by mag chloride. So, I'm looking for ways to dress this up and maybe "black out" the whole truck.

Just join the site have been reading it for a while but haven't seen anybody talk about adding sounds to a 2008 Sequoia while keeping the factory head unit. Any ways I got the sounds put in after a big O mess up at the shop and I also the 24's put on it 1 week after I got it from the dealer. I'll post up some pics at a later time.

I just joined the site. I looked up a window issue on a 2001 Sequoia Limited I purchased from a friend. I sold my 1993 4-runner BooHoo but love the Sequoia. The soltution was there and saved a trip to the dealer.
I just took the Sequoia to the dealer for an oil change and when I picked it up they said my drivers side mirror was clicking. News to me since it wasn't doing it when I took it in. I told them disconnect it because I wasn't replacing right now for $660.. The next day my light for the airbag came on and stays on. A week later I had to replace the battery. Is there any connection between the issues?

Hi to all:
I am new to the Forum by two days. I have a burgandy 2004 SR5 with 100k on the clock and a Silver 2008 Platinum with 4500 miles on it and is a dream to drive. I have a driver's door issue with the SR5 that I am going to research. The remote won't open it. I have been reading posts on the various forums and I love the reams of info that I get by so doing. I hope to be a savvy contributor in the future.

This looks like a great form. I use I8mud.com a lot. I have been a diy hard landcruiser owner for about 8 years. I had a very nice lexus version of the land cruiser a lx450. It was a 1996 with factory elockers. Some one ran a stop sign in front of my wife a couple of week ago and so t bones him. Thank god she is ok. But my lx450 ended up getting totaled. So of coarse i started looking for a replacment toyota. So i started looking for a newer land cruiser, sequoia, or tundra. After test driving the sequoia i have become a fan. We where looking for better towing for are travle trailer and this should do the trick.
So we just picked up a 2002 sr5 with leather and wood trim yesterday. I'm not even sure what to call the color yet. it changes color. it's pretty cool.
So i'm going to try to wire it for trailer brakes today. Should be fun.

Will be using this form to figure out the trailer brakes.

So i know have a 2002 Sequoia.
1989 gray Fj62 land cruiser.
1991 fj80 land cruiser i'm parting out.
1971 fj40 land cruiser that is my baby.

I've been reading this forum for quite some time now, and the information I've gathered has been invaluable. I just purchased my 2008 Pt. Edition Sequoia this past Saturday and I'm loving it! I feel like I should thank all the contributors for their posts because I've enjoyed reading your comments and thoughts and has really helped in my decision in buying this SUV.

I have an 01 Sequoia with 82,000 miles. I need some help. The rear hatch handle broke on my 01. The dealer wants $350 to fix. Is there any way to fix on my own.

Hi. I own a 2003 Sequoia. It's my wife's ride and she loves it. I on the other hand am a little disappointed with the quality. I bought it new and after 6 yrs, it's the nickel and dime things that are driving me crazy. Thought I'd join the forum and see if I can get any tips or other advice

Greetings all!!! It's cool to be part of a site that is dedicated to the owners and the love of their car. I just got me a 2008 Sequoia SR5 4x4. Its a base model, but still freaking awesome. looking to lift and level it and put on some new rims and tires. If anyone knows of any lift and leveling kit for the front and back, let me know. Hey i just had question about some BBS wheels i have.They are the 18x9 you find down here in the southeast region. Anyways I took my tires into the dealership and had them rotated but come to find out they lost my "special" lug nut piece to take the wheels off and im trying to find a replacement. what size or what type of lug nut do i need to take my wheels off? any help would be appreciated.

Jusst bought a new 2008 sequoia SR5. Planning on doing the Revtek 2.5 inch lift and looking for ideas on wheels. Matte or flat black. Also info on switching over the interior lights to white led. any suggestions?
