well I signed up for this Forum moons ago but my car Forum time is usually occupied elsewhere. the Sienna is my wife's daily driver. so a belated hello ....
my concern today is, we bought the van one year ago in August. at that time the horn was sensitive but everything else checked out and for a fantastic price so we bought it. the horn problem was intermittent and then virtually left us during the cold months, so we forgot about it.
now with summer here again, the horn is at its worst. still intermittent, but seems heat related, the hotter it is outside the more sensitive the horn is. it goes off without the wheel being touched, then to shut it off we hit the steering wheel

which works for now but one of these days it is likely to stick I suppose. it also seems to be worse on hard turning.
well, I have not yet bought my own repair manual, and I do not even know where the fuse is for the horn? if the fuse is dedicated solely to the horn I guess I could simply pull the fuse for now but thats a bandaid approach and inspection is coming soon.
has anyone here had this problem before?
my first gut thought was if I know how to get to the switch mechanism I can spray it with contact cleaner, but I have never taken apart a steering wheel (is that what I'd do??

) and worry about the airbag, and wouldn't try it w/o a manual or Tundra Forum advice for sure. maybe its a shorted wire? in which case I'd scratch my head and consult a professional ??
any thoughts or suggestions welcome
