Default Thinking of buying 04 sienna xle awd

Hello,

I would appreciate any words of wisdom to assist me in my decision to buy an 04. I live in Calgary and will use vehicle in winter. I have read many posts re: issues with door cables/motors, and RFT's. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default Re: Thinking of buying 04 sienna xle awd

I don't know if you bought it yet or not, but I had a 2004 XLE AWD. Loved the full-time 4wd on it. Traded it for a 2003 Tundra. Wife liked the Sienna so much, she traded her 2005 Highlander Hybrid for a 2006 XLE (no AWD).

When I drive it, I can tell the AWD is not there. I have a heavy foot and I spin the front tires too much, never had that problem with the AWD version. However, the creature comforts have been refined and it's still a very nice car.
