2005 Sienna sliding door stuck CLOSED

I've read several posts where the issue has been a snapped power door cable, but can't find one where the power door (passenger side) is stuck closed. The door had been having trouble opening for a few weeks, meaning that I would have to hit the remote a couple of times to get it to open. I noticed that if I fiddled with the child lock switch it would be ok for a day or so but then would start sticking again. Of course it never occured to me that the door might get stuck in the closed position if I didn't fix it.

Now I can't open it using either inside or outside door handle, nor has jiggling the door lock helped. Also the outside door is very loose compared to the driver side sliding door. Any suggestions?
