Door Lock Actuator

I have an 2004 Sienna. The driver side sliding door (non-powered) actuator needs replaced. It is like my son-in-law and only works when it wants to. The dealer tells me that the part is over $500 and labor is near $300. Can anyone tell me where to locate the part for less and provide some info on the repair. I can not imagine it being a difficult job and would like to do it myself if possible.
