Default 2004 Sienna front end rattle/clank, any ideas?

Hi, I have a 2004 Sienna LE/AWD, 59,500 miles. There is a persistent rattle/clank that is more pronounced when driving over uneven pavement, but is more or less always present and seems to be getting worse over the last month or so. The sound seems to be coming from the front, engine area, cannot tell if it is from one side or the other (maybe both?). Has anyone else experienced this? Yes, all my CDs are secured, the rattle is not coming from the stowage cubbies. Any ideas are most welcomed. Any TSBs related to this?
Regards, Mark

i lived with the same rattle but when i gave the van to my daughter she took it to toyota who replaced the rubber that supports the caliper on the right front. good luck. i hope you do not come away calling them a stealership.

Thanks, Actually the dealer thinks that it is the right strut mount, the sound does seem to be coming from that area but I never considered the right caliper, I will have to have them look at that also. The strut mount will get replaced on Friday, hopefully that will take care of it. I believe there have been others complaining of a similar issue in older Camrys.

my dad has an avalon and he had the same problem once he hit 200,000 miles. toyota recommended he get the struts/shock absorbers replaced, along with having the front end checked for any loose bolts/screws. i figured this might be your problem too because the avalon and sienna are both built on the camry platform.
