Default New Sienna owner

Just wanted to stop in and say Hi to everyone. I have a 05 DC 4x4 Tundra and have been on these boards since 05, and my wife just bought a new 08 limited AWD sienna. We have a little girl on the way and with #3 arriving we needed more room. So we traded in our Mitsubishi Montero for the new Sienna. She hates being in the minivan club, but this car is amazing. This minivan/car has options I didnt even know existed (ie. laser cruise control, HID headlights with 5 degree adjustablity (in car), and of course the high end options like, DVD nav with back-up camera, power sliding(2) and rear doors, front and rear sonar(proximity alert), DVD entertainment with wireless headphones, and a whole mess of other stuff. Safety is bar none with AWD, 6 airbags, and one of the best crash test ratings among minivans. This minivan drives like a luxury car. Toyota has impressed me again.

How is the AWD? I assume with a 4x4 and suv, you have a need? Any snow (sorry I don't know where Whittier is) experience?

We have a vacation home in Mammoth Lakes and also like to go to Lake tahoe.* Snowboarding and snowmobiling are our favorite winter activities.* So with 500' of snow(or more), annually, a 4wd vehicle is a must.* Wife is six months pregnant (her winter season is done), so we wont know how well the AWD performs in the snow till next year.* Whittier is a suburb, southeast, of Los Angeles.
