Question 2000 Sienna Power Sliding Door Not Working

We recently got some rain overnite and then it got cold and the doors froze. When trying to get in our 2000 Sienna the next morning we tried the power sliding door but it did not work and has not since then. The PWR DOOR light is lit on the dash all the time. I have checked fuses but cannot find a blown one for the door (if I have checked correctly). My guess is the door motor is gone at this point and I know that is big $$$ to fix. Can anyone give me some background on the power doors and is there anything I can check to verify the motor is dead? I am miffed at the idea that Toyota would let a motor burn out before a fuse would go. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

does the door open manually if so look at the end of the rail on the body where the guide wheel runs sometimes the cables snap and break you can usually see the end sticking out

A 2000 sienna usually needs a DOOR ECU. The motors rarely go bad in the older siennas. The newer siennas 04 and up usually are the ones that have motor/cable or hinge failure.
The 2000 sienna also is known for a bad JUNCTION connector on the front of the slide door. There are usually 7 pins in it. 3 pins are a certain height and the other 4 are a different height. If the junction connector breaks all the pins usually vary in height, this tells the ecu if the door is open/locked/unlocked and a few other inputs. Check the junction first, then if it is ok, replace the DOOR ECU.
post a pictue of the junction conector on the door so can can help you determine of it is ok.
