Unhappy Sienna INSIDE door handle broken!

HI folks:

We have a 2000 Sienna LE and the inside driver side front door handle mechanism has broken. I took off the rectangular bezel to find that the entire handle that you pull on to open the door has shattered. Part of it is still attached to the thick metal rod that actually opens the lock, but that entire part needs replacing. I have all the parts including the spring, but would like to know:

1. Best way to remove door panel.
2. How to obtain correct part for replacment (junk yard, dealer?)

Many thanks. The door locks still work from the OUTSIDE and the outside door handle still is fine and not broken (seems to be a problem with these cars!).
