Default Gas milege

Just filled this baby up for the forth time got 389.9 miles out of 16.656 gal of gas=23.4mpg mixed 50/50 driving which is way better than we ever got in the Yukon. Its best all hwy was 18.8 on a good day.Man this is a smooth riding vehicle.Should have made the switch long time ago.Van only has about 1250 miles on it as we speak.First tank was about 21.4 all hwy so its getting better. Not bad to say according to the sticker its supposed to get 17 city/23 hwy.I got the 23 and some change with mixed driving.

My wife and I are planning to buy the Sienna but we are waiting for the 2009 to arrive.
I read that the new model will be here either late August or September.
Perhaps the mileage will improve.

I just bought my wife a used 2005 Sienna and she loves the crap out of it. She gets 17.5-18 mpg mixed driving and when we take it out for freeway drives we see 21-23 mpg. She did not want a brand new one but we may end up getting the newer version in the next couple of years.

our gas tank is about 18 gal capacity and each fill we get around 300miles(mostly local). so yours seems pretty good.

I track my mileage on a spreadsheet. Going back to November 2005 when we bought the van new, we have been averaging right at 19.0 mpg for the life of the van so far. This includes a wide range of stop and go, and long trips. Spend right at $3000 a year on gas for the van. Close to 65k on the odometer now.
