Default 99 Lower Control Arm Bushing

Has any one replaced their bushings on their lower control arm? I'm doing it just because I'm replacing the ball joints and outer tie rods. Was wondering if you did do it, did you press the bushings yourself? Was it difficult or Am I better off letting a shop do it?

I have investigated this for some time now. Everybody is steering me away from replacing the bushings. Dealers will install only the whole new control arms. I read some info how to replace the bushings and it involves a bushing press, freezing the bushings and heating the area around the hole where they fit in to. A job for an expert! I found that the cost for a lower control arm with bushings installed for my 1999 Camry LE on the internet is about $120 and the price for a set of bushings is about $40 to 60. I probably will replace the whole arm assembly.

I found the bushings online at conicellis Toyota for $20 a side. My friend has a shop so I have access to a press. I'm going to give it a shot and let you know how it comes out. BTW He's runng the press. I like my fingers.
