Default 05 and 06 Sienna Owners
I have a 2001 Sienna Le and am looking to trade in for a newer model. On the 05 and 06 I see where some websites including Toyota's, that say they need Premium Fuel (91 Octane), but in the owners manual it says Regular Fuel or better. Which fuel do you put in your 05 or 06 Sienna?

We have an '06, it runs fine on regular 87 octane

My 06 has never had premium fuel. Always use reg 87 and have gotten in the low 30's MPG a few times. Seems that my MPG has reduced now that most if not all regular gas has 10% Ethanol. With my normal driving I get 26 to 28.

I have a 2005 Sienna XLE and have always used 87 octane and it has run great for over 43,000 miles.
