Default a little different sliding door issue

I have read the old post about sliding door problems. Mine is a bit different.

On the driver's side sliding door it will only open just a few inches until it stops. it does this both with manual or power.

I am guessing it has to do with the gas cap switch that protects the door?

I have a 2005 Sienna xle limted.

Thanks for any help or pointing in the right direction.

Brent

Default Re: a little different sliding door issue

Took it back to dealer today and it seems the culprit is the gas door. The switch worked fine when pressed with a hard object. I was using my thumb, but did not depress enough. There is a metal tab of the gas door that was bent a bit and not making connection. Thought I would post in case this would help someone in the future.
