Default Dome fuse keeps blowing on 2001 Sienna

Hello. I borrowed a 2001 Sienna and noticed that the dome light wasn't working. I checked the fuse and it was blown, so I replaced it. The odd thing is that once I put in the new fuse, that would blow out right away. I am using the recommended fuse, so could this be an electrical problem?

absolutely, there is a pinched wire or short in the light somewhere. try removing the bulb and replace the fuse. if it still blows then its prob. the wiring.

Thanks for the tip. I'll remove the bulb before replacing the fuse and we'll see what happens.

Its probably the lights in the visor. The wire goes thru the visor from the corner where it bolts to the roof. This wire sometimes gets pinched when using the visor. Is there a DVD hangig from the roof. Sometimes they pinch a wire there also.
I would also check the cig lighter, it could be shorted or sometimes dimes or other objects fall in them.
Here is a list of the things the DOME LAMP fuse operates.

Happy hunting.
Start unplugging 1 thing at a time until the fuse stops blowing.

Just an FYI, I had brought the van to the dealership since it was still under warranty and it turned out that there was a short from the lights in the visor. Many thanks to mustang67408 for the tip!
