As a newbie...sorry if I sound familiar!
I have a 2002 Sienna with 90K and have a P1155 code for the last few days. That code points to the A/F Bank 1 Sensor 2.
(From reading I understand that 02 sensors have been replaced by Air/Fuel heater sensors for a broader-band response to the old voltage type.).
Lokers....speaking just as a reader not as a Toyota professional.....
Bad air/fuel mix apparently puts a hurting on the CAT converter and may be why some folks seeing this code are indicating the dual replacement of sensor AND CAT converter. Maybe somebody here can expound on how the need for a CAT replacement is made. If its just on presumption...maybe another dealer is in your future
General question:
Is it reasonable that a 2002 Sienna would show a
0136 code. It seems like the P1155 is the one that should be posted for this yr/model?
RE: the DENSO OEM parts world:
For the 2002 Sienna, they only list O2 sensors as a category AND they indicate a Right and Left Sensor (same part no. for both). Is this consistent with and indication of Bank 1, Sensor 2?
