I have a 04 Sienna XLE with 19k miles and the tires are almost worn out. They are Bridgestone 225 R60 17
I have found this is a very odd size and three places I checked with can order them but there is no treadwear warranty.
Anyone else have this experience and any solutions?

Our XLE has 16's but were still shot at 25K. I put on a set of Mich Harmony's - the ride is a little 'sporty' (read stiffer) and there is more road noise but at 42K they seem to be holding up better.
I think the OEM compound was soft for ride and noise quality. I was told the OEM Mich didn't have a tread wear warranty - the new ones carry an 80K promise - we'll see.

I had the oem Dunlops on our '04 sienna that lasted 47k. I thought that was pretty decent for oem tires. I usually rotated them every other oil change (8 - 10k). Replaced them with the Michelin Harmony's, too. I don't notice them being any noiser, but they seem to be a good tire. I'm happy. Yup, 80k warranty....only time will tell.
Have a 2004 sienna - bridgestone tires were wearing unevenly at 15,000, got rid of them at 32,000, replaced with conventional tires and a spare which I slung into the back seat.
i was furious, wrote Toyota. They tried to send me off to the tire manufacturer and I wouldn't have any of it - told them, THEY put tires on this car (don't remember them asking me my opinion) that 1) wear poorly and 2) have no mileage warrenty and 3) what good is it to be able to drive 100 miles on a flat if one cannot get a new tire within 100 miles? (few dealers stock them - if they happen to be open when you need them).
Told them I should not have to live with a poor Toyota engineering decision.
So, they agreed to pay for the purchase and installation of a doughnut spare tire kit in my Sienna (lost some rear storage), plus the doughnut, plus half the cost of the new conventional tires I had to buy.
I considered this an equitable solution though I am still not happy with a doughnut tire but willing to face reality - not enough room to create storage for a full size one.
Hi there, I have a 2004 Sienna XLE (not the AWD) and have put 7 new tires on the car since I have owned it. The wear on them is incredible. I am a gentle driver and routinely rotate and balance the tires. The allignment has been checked as well. STS Tire place recommends I put a different brand on next time. I am getting less than 20K per tire. Toyota won't do anything because there is nothing wrong according to their evaluations. What do you think? Thanks----Flossm
Our 2005 has 21,000 miles on it and the tires need replacing. They never did get good traction and my wife has mentioned being derided by fellow passengers on her lack of traction even on dry pavement.
My Tundra OEM tires are going the same route. Early retirement and terrible, nay, dreadful, traction in all aspects. Almost entirely useless on wet grass.
So, your situation sounds normal. Haven't figured out what I am going to replace them with, but I will monitor this thread for inputs.

I have almost 10k miles on the Michelin Harmony tires I mentioned earlier in the thread. So far they look like they are wearing well. I need to change the engine oil and rotate the tires this week. That will give me a chance to take a closer look at them. I'll let you know.
A couple of thoughts - all minivans seem to scrub front tires. The Bridgestone OEM were pretty bad and noisy too. I replaced them with Continentals which were less noisy but also wore out very fast. I did some research on Tires and have selected Goodyears Comfortreds which were the highest rated tires for this size. They are very quiet so I will see how they hold up.
BTW - The class action lawsuit - lawyers got $945,000. The plaintaffs a total of $45,000. Ain't it grand to be a lawyer in US.
I put Yokohama Avid TRZ on my '04 Sienna AWD. I got 55k miles with only slightly uneven wear towards the end. That turned out to be an alignment issue. I regularly rotate my tires every 5K miles and check air pressure. I just put Big-O Euro Tours on. We'll see how that goes.
We have 120K on our '04 Sienna. We have put 4 sets of tires on it. It came with Michelins which we replaced at 30K, then we put on Bridgestones which lasted until it had 70K on it and then we had the same Bridgestones put on, but they only lasted 20K and now we have a supposedly 80K tire on the car, but we are already slipping everywhere in rain. This van eats tires! I wonder if it is all Siennas or the '04-'06 years?
