PLEASE HELP! Does anyone know anything about this?

hello all,

i've been reading on this site for a while because of my envy of sienna's, but we finally JUST got one! my husband and i just purchased a 2001 toyota sienna xle with the factory-installed 'vision' rear entertainment system. i have a huge problem, and i am wondering if anyone might know what's going on...when we pop down the screen and turn on the system, the vhs is playing and there is sound coming through the jbl audio system, but there is NO PICTURE on the screen. what is says is, "vcp idle." no matter what we do, we cannot get that to just say "vcp" and work! there was only a very skinny book with it, and it did say that this being on the screen was a possibility, but it did not say what to do about it at all. i'm lost, and my kids are ExTrEmElY bummed that it's not working...can anyone help me? i appreciate it so much...

Just a stab here, have you tried the following:

Switching tapes
Reconnecting the wires
Contacting the dealer
