2004 Sienna Issues

I am having some issues with my 2004 Sienna LE AWD. There are 32000kms on it.

- My A/C only works on the front passenger side. I do not have front dual zones. The driver side and rear vents all blow warm air when the A/C is on.

- The check engine light and the VSC light came on at the same time the other day. Still have to bring it in to get checked out.

-When I try to accelerate from rolling(ie. around corners) the engine seems very hesitant, almost like it's misfiring.

If anyone has seen/solved any of these issues please reply.

Hi Kris,

When you take your van in for service. Also get them to check the transmission's current programming. There was a service bulletin that came out in the U.S. that addressed the sluggish response of the transmission especially during stop and go traffic ,and slow speeds around corners. I have attached the PDF of the bulletin. They have a different number for it up here in Canada.

I had it done on my van before 60,000 kms so that it was still covered under warranty, and noticed a huge improvement right away. Hope that's cures the sluggishness of you van.
