2000 sienna driver window problems

The window on the driver side will go down but becomes "tiresome" trying to go up and eventually stops. If it rest for about a minute it will go back up again in steps. Took the panel off and there are no mechanical problems and everything is lubricated well.

If I have to replace the motor how would I know if I have to replace the regulator as well? Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a bad window motor to me. (very common)
Usually you replace the reg when they break, this just sounds like a bad motor.
When you change the motor you also have to time it properly or it will go up and them come back down.

My 1999 Sienna has the same problem. This may sound silly, does anyone know a technique in remove the door panels? I don't see any screws that are hold the panel...yes I'm a rookie....thanks
