Sienna 06 Speech Commands

I'm disappointed that there is no way for the passanger to access the navigation options when moving. (I hope I'm wrong.) The speech commands also seem limited in function. I hope this is so because I haven't found any good documentation of the use of the nav system. Can anyone direct me to good informaton on the speech commands? AND is there a way for the pasenger to operate the system?

The mic is in the overhead console. It has a limited speech undersatnding. For the pass to operate it, you will have to press the steering wheel button. About the only command it understands perfectly, is 'dial by number' If you try get me a case of beer , it takes you to a cofee house

Is there any way to program in examples of one own voice for the Speech Command List? I have seen other systems "learn" each driver's "speech commands" upon set-up. My E7006 Denso unit does have the ability to store up to three user/driver preferences.
