2000 Sienna dashboard removal

I've removed plenty of dashboards in my life, but this one's got me scratching my head. My goal is to replace a few bulbs in the instrument cluster.


Any help, photos, drawings, docs, encouragement, etc. would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that these instructions also apply to the 1999 model, as they are very similarly made.

I am new to the forum, and cannot figure out how to locate the PDF that is being referenced. I would much appreciate a copy to dismantle the dash in my 2000 Sienna. Would someone be kind enough as to email it to me (aj2000617@yahoo.com) or provide a link where I can retrieve it? Many thanks.

i too would like to know where to access the pdf file. two of the bulbs have burned out on the instrument cluster... anyone know what type of bulbs they are?

Here is the PDF to remove th dash to get to the instrument cluster. you dont have to do all the steps, just pick and choose to gain access to what your after.

thanks, managed to find it in another post. and for future reference, the large bulbs are 194 type bulbs... and i think the smaller bulbs are 74... not sure though.

do you have the entire PDF of the dashboard dissasseble? I clicked on the one above but only got 3 pages.

Also, I'm trying to add a bigger center console to my sienna. To give you an idea, I want to build a center console that acts as an armrest and connects fully with the dasboard itself, just like in a regular sedan or suv. what is your thought on doing this? I would have to get ride of the radio, but that's no problem, I'm buying and all-in-one ac/heater/radio/nav unit that will go where the current heater/ac control unit is.

The above PDF is only 3 pages. It is for removal of instrument cluster. The attached PDF is only 1 page for dissasembly. That's all Toyota has in the manual.
