Re: 2003 Sienna No Dashboard Lights Solution
I've learned how to operate the dashboard lights. After looking very closely at the manual there was a small corner of a page that briefly and only visually described how the trip odometer doubles as the dashboard light control. Turn it clockwise and it brightens the lights. Turn it counterclockwise and it dims the lights. I did not have burned out bulbs afterall. This may sound like a trivial problem, but the manual was very vague and the index/table of contents are too simplified to learn about such a feature. To add, this is my wife's car. I drive a 2001 Tacoma. My Tacoma dash light control dial is on the left of the steering column next to the rear differential lock button. Well there is similar looking spot in the Sienna but with a missing dial. It was bad on my part to assume they would put the dashboard light dial in the same spot in the Sienna as they have done so in my 2001 Tacoma. So there's the solution. I hope this helps for anyone who has the same problem.
