Left taillight assembly plastic retainers snapped off

Left quarter panel tail light assembly cheap plastic pins broke where it attaches to the metal receptacle part of the quarter panel. What do I do know? I used velcro temporarily but do I have to replace the whole tail light assembly, dissasemble the panels inside the car to get to the broken retainer receptacles? Then what?

Are you talking about the creme colored inserts on the side fo the 1/4 or on the tail light assembly? What year?
