Toubleshooting 2000 Sienna 6-CD changer? Help

My CD player is no longer working. It's full of discs. There is no ERR message, just a blank window. I can hear the discs trying to boot/cycle when I start the car, but I cannot eject them. Previously I was able to disconnect the battery and re-boot the system. That was when there was an ERR 3 message. Now nothing. Any thoughts before I succumb to the dealership? Fuse?

Try disconnecting the battery again. You may have to pull the head unit out to manually eject the dics.

I had the same problem with my '02 4Runner (same head unit as yours). I had to manually remove the CD's by removing the head unit and taking it apart. This seems to be a very common problem with these units. Your dealer can get you a reman unit for ~250.00
