Red face Power Outlet Problems

So I had a power converter, that I believe has blown all three power outlets. It did this one at a time, and I have already checked the fuses.

Does anyone know if the power outlets are fused links? If so where is the best place to find them?

Plan on hooking the power converter directly to the battery from now on.

Any info on the wiring appreciated.

So I found the problem:

First, it was two blown fuses. These are located in the cabin under the drivers side dash. I had only checked the main fuse box in the engine compartment. Should really pay more attention to the owners manual.

Second, the front driver side power outlet is on it's own fuse. The rear and front passenger side power outlets share a fuse.

Third, none of the automotive stores seem to carry these "mini" fuses that were used. Had to go to a dealer to get some.

Anyway, ran a cable direct to the battery for the power converter. Should prevent this issue in the future.

Forgot to add in the first post that this is for a 2004 Sienna

That wire you ran to the battery, BE ABSOLUTELY SURE you fused the wire. If not and it shorts to metal there will be NOTHING TO STOP the flow of current across that wire. Meaning you will be looking for a new vehicle after the fire, that is. Fuse rating will depend on size of wire and length ran? Let me know and I can recommend a size.

Oh and by the way, fused the wire means within 6 to 12 inches of the battery.
