Re: Welcome to TundraSolutions.com! - New Members/Sienna Owners Introduce Yourself He
I've got a 2005 Sienna that I have had since new and have had no problems thus far. I am interested in owner maintenance. I have always maintained my own cars in the past, but have used dealer service on this one. Dealer service is quite expensive, and takes longer than doing it yourself, since you must leave the vehicle, then come back when they call.

Hi. My name is Jim. I own a 2000 Sienna LE. Recently the power sliding door got iced shut and stopped working. It operates fine manually now that it is thawed but has no power. The PWR DOOR light on the dash is lit. Today I opened the sliding door manually while the motor was running and then closed it manually. Now the PWR DOOR light blinks. I know this is some cryptic Toyota code but I cannot find an answer can anyone help?
Thanks in advance. This site is gonna be a source of great help for me. I also onw a 2005 Corolla and have owned several other Toyotas. Toyotas rock and my dealer - Kinderhook Toyota - is awesome.

Hello:
My Name is Dave Schultz-I own a 2005 Toyota Sienna LE. It now has 35,000 miles on it. I like the Van very much but have had a steering tire problem since New.It took 3 trys for the dealer to correct a pulling to the left problem. Now at 35,000 miles I notice inner tread wear on the front tires especially the left front. It is now making a slight road noise from the uneven wear. Any comments or suggestions? daves36@verizon.net

Been on the forum for a while just bought the wife an 08 sienna XLE yesterday. The staff at Champion Toyota were great a better experience from my local dealer.I'm mostly in the first gen Tundra forum but I guess now I'll have to check here from time to time.P.S. Its already getting better mileage than that gas guzzling yukon we traded on the trip back home approximately 170 miles we averaged 19.9 best the yukon ever got with 23k on it was 18.5.Van only had 7 miles on it when we picked it up.
Hi all, I just bought a 03 Sienna Symphony, switched from Ford Windstar(ugh!) and love my Toyota! It's used but runs great, except there are some minor fixes needed... I just noticed that it "clicks" whenever I make a turn (especially from stop to hard acceleration). I've read some threads regarding the steering intermediate shaft that needs replacement on few of 04 sienna threads but I'm sure 03 is basically the same in this case. Luckily i have extended warranty on this van. I did take it to Torrance Toyota (where I bought this from) but heard lots of bad rumors about their service. Does anyone know a good service department in the South Bay area? My friend goes to Santa Monica Toyota since their service seemed very good. Please let me know if you have good experience and recommendations! Thank you!

I just purchased a 2008 Sienna LE in Silver Shadow Pearl. It was Pre-Owned with only 7000 miles on it. IT has Leather and DVD entertainment. DVD I am almost sure is aftermarket as it is an Alpine unit and there are two installed. One for second and one for third row. So far I am very impressed with the car especially the power. This thing is a beast. I am looking forward to many miles of enjoyment. P.S. can anyone recommend a good extended warranty thats not too expensive. Have a great Holiday season.

Welcome fellow Toyota owners! I have a 2004 Sienna XLE and a 2002 Tacoma Double Cab Pre Runner.
The Driver's heated seat has stopped working and the dealer wants over $800 to repair. I'm sure I can do it for less.
By the way, I work at the factory where they are made in Princeton, IN, but that does not give me any inside info on most items given the department I work in.
