Hey, I know this may seem a bit early as it is still hot outside, but when is the Toms Farm meet going to be this year? I am working Saturday's this year and need to get the time off.

Let's do it sooner, so we can guarantee good weather. Sept. or Oct. or ?

Hey guys!

I'm cruising the Cali forum and what do I see?? A Tom's Farm Meet thread! :D I am not driving a Tundra but I got my 4Runner back from my sister who ran it to the ground (never let a relative borrow your vehicle for an extended period of time, unless its your parents)! Anyhow, it's going to undergo extensive mechanical restoration. The body is in good shape, the paint needs some serious attention though. Right now, it needs brakes and possibly drivetrain work. Shocks are shot, and I'm thinking of either a spacer lift or maybe a coilover. Not planning on doing a big lift, just want to fit 33s on it and some nice Alcoas.

Hopefully, all this will be done by the time a date/time is set for Tom's Farm so I can stop by and say hello to all.

Damn. I guess I can't show off the new upgrades on my truck yet.

That's too bad, seems like this thing has died off. Used to be something I look forward to yearly. But things change and situations make it hard for most people to even keep a truck that the love so much and have to downgrade onto something more affordable to maintain and gas up. It's just not fitting to go to a tundra meet w/o a tundra, know wut I mean?

Yesterday the wife and I took the boys to the Thomas the Train exhibit at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris and stopped at Tom's Farms for lunch on the way home. I looked over at the dirt lot and remembered it filled with Tundras on a few occaisions. Maybe again someday....

I hear ya Vic. Why don't we name a date some time next month and I will surely try and get the time off. Any Sunday will work for me, but hey, I can swing a Saturday off for a day trip.

Hey Victor......what's going on!

Finally got my 4Runner back on the road. Finally got the brake booster replaced and a new aftermarket cat put on. She passed Cali's strict smog inspection with flying colors! I also put on new Monroe shocks because the previous factory set is beyond shot. The rear is sagging, not sure what type of springs to go with to bring it back up. Not sure what's the most simplest and cost effective way to do this. I'm not doing a lift on her anytime soon. Still needs some more work done. It's in the shop right now for rear main seal, CV boots, tune-up, and alignment. Her latest look is shown by my sig photo.

Hopefully, once I get her running well, I can join the next meet.

Hey Dennis, Great to hear the 4 runner is coming along. Looking fwd to seeing her in the future.
I'll look into the rear spring situation and see what I can come up with for springs without LIFT.
Off the top of my head call COIL SPRINGS (http://www.coilsprings.com/)
They have done some custom springs for a few TS members at very reasonable prices and everyone's been happy so far.
