Even with the idle speed screw of my 1992 22R-E rotated fully clockwise as far as it will go, the idle speed is still only about 500-600 RPM when the engine is warm and so it sometimes stalls.
Throttle plate has been cleaned and spark plug gaps, valve clearances and ignition timing are set to factory specs using factory parts. So what else might be causing the low warm engine idle speed? Something wrong with the dashpot or auxillary air valve?? When the engine is cold the idle is normal. Emissions are low so the fuel mixture must be correct.
