Does anyone know if there are any bucket seats that will bolt up to a 93 toyota p/u with very little mods? Thanks for the help, Jumm

I am in same boat as you but just have my reservations about these fitting and dealer said he would make them fit but that they are supposed to bolt rite in. Call them or check internet site for dealers! CORBEAU USA LLC - Products (http://www.corbeau.com/prod_index/prod_index.shtml)

I am having the same trouble with a 96 T100 that has a 60/40 bench. I called the local Toyota dealer and their Parts people assured me that the 97 and 98s have the same bracket mounting spacing. So I spent hours on the phone finding a junkyard that had a 97 or 98 T100 with a drivers bucket and finally found one for $400. I just got it though and there is no way it will work . Anyone need a 97 or 98 bucket seat?

hey man I year you with the t100 seats- I have a 95 that I am actually putting in tundra buckets-gettin them covered in grey leather. They are not a direct bolt in as I also Have a tundra (that I am selling) so I checked it out. If you have a welder or at least can drill a few holes in some flat stock you can make it work. I also have an extra 03 console that I am putting in with a little work. They fit and are so much more comfortable than t100 or tacoma buckets. 400 seems pretty steep since I could get the tundra buckets for 100 but factor in 250 for covers-and maybe install and ill be right there with you. Try to find some that are cheaper so you can put a few bucks in them. I will start a post when Im done.

On a 93 compact pickup, at least an xtra cab which is what I have, I did the bucket seat swap from my 60/40 front bench to the SR5 bucket seats.

The passenger side bolts right on no problem.

The Driver side will require you to make an offset bracket (Not too hard, just need some 1/8" or thicker metal about 3-4" by 1 to 1 1/2" wide and 2 carriage bolts) for the front right leg. The Front left and rear left legs (if you're facing forward sitting in it) line up no problem. The back right leg requires a very minor amount of muscling it over to get it into position and I suggest putting the bolt from underneath an then muscling it over onto the bolt and then putting the nut on top and ratcheting it down.

The SR5 buckets in the 89-95 pickups are one of the most comfortable bucket seats Toyota ever put in a truck.

banshee4785 and other T100 owners out there...

I need some help confirming front seat bolt spacing. I bought a 97 driver's side bucket to replace the 60% part of the stock 60/40 bench. Like I said above, the local Toyota dealer said that the bolt spacing for the 60/40 bench vs the bucket is the same. So, I found an on-line junk yard dealer that had a bucket out of what they said was a 97 T100 (no local junk yards had any seats). I bought it and then once it arrived quickly found out the bolt spacing was several inches off in each dimension! I went with some Corbeau seats (thanks HOGWILD), which I just installed today. Now I need to address the issue of this bucket from the junk yard. Seems like they must have sent me a seat out of Tundra, not a T100. So, if you own a 97 or 98 T100 that came with buckets, or you have a Tundra, can you please tell me the spacing of the four mounting bolts (seat rails to chassis) for the driver's side? I am out a lot of cash if it turns out that the bolt spacing changed between 96 and 97, and I am hoping that its the junk yards mistake. Thanks for the help!

i just got done putting bucket seats into my 1994 toyota pickup. there's no really easy way of putting them in. the easiest way to do it so they are installed right is to weld mounting bolts where the other side of your seat's mounting bracket lines up on your cab floor. i found it was the easiest way to do it. i asked around alot of places and they all said about lining the seats up on the floor and drilling holes and putting your bolts the whole way thru your cab floor. i tried the other way and its held since, i dont know if thats what you were looking for or not but i thought i would try.

Been doing a few upgrades to my 93 and the first was a set of American Wheels 172's and second was FINALLY a set of Corbeau buckets to replace my 60/40 buckets that were totally worn out! I will post some pictures here in a few days but the seats were pretty much plug and play and i guess for their price they should have been! Unusual going from a 60/40 bucket to plain buckets especially ones that the recline feature works on now! The wheels rub a little more than they did before but the guy talked me into 15x8's instead of 15x7's but not worth complaining a whole lot about i suppose!:tu::tu:
