Need advice on finding helper or upgrade leaf springs on '99 reg cab Tacoma 4x4 2.7l
My old truck, now my Dad's, leaf springs are resting about 1-2" lower then the orginal position. Looking for a cure via either new springs or going with an add-a-leaf system.
Thanks
TG
I have a friend who bought a pair of replacement springs from Northwest offroad and he likes them.

If springs are saggin that bad, don't go with an aal. it will put to much/all weight on it and could break= very bad news.
I reccomend "Alcan" custom leaf packs for your problem. About $150.00 per side.

Thanks for the advice on the new leaf springs for my Dad's Taco.
I think the add mass of the topper/shell had caused a sag of 1/2 to 1" or the last 3 years. Combined with the regular cab short wheelbase the issue is fairly noticeable.

heya jason, i've got the alcans on my truck. ran 500 total for the tundra, pics under "my photos"...if you call alcan, talk to tom, website is www.alcanspring.com, theyre in grand junction, colorado so shipping might eat you. "joe" has northwest offroad spring packs and really likes them, it's another option kind of like the alcans.
