Lack of. LOL. 07rcsb5.7 10-11-2007, 02:27 PM Ive got the k&n intake on mine it is pretty loud. Ive also have zoomers exhaust as well. I love the sound and fit and finish is outstanding! No computer tuning as of yet. Tundra57 10-11-2007, 02:31 PM ohh okay, It first time I bought toyota and I not sure which one i could get air intake for 5.7L but I think i will get K&N Air Intake or TRD Intake or AEM. What about muffler Hooker Areo Chamber or Borla, Magnaflow... what size for inlet and outlet 4"? HMAN2007TUNDRA 10-12-2007, 03:23 PM Blue Streaker - your setup is very close to what i have been considering. I definitely don't want a screamer for a CAI and the Volant seems to delvier, can you hear any pronounced sucking sound with yours? I have alos seen some bad threads re: the Volant's fit up to the wheel well fascia? I am on the fence with the Cat back system. I really like duals but yours sounds pretty nice and about what I want. I definitely don't want to wake the neighbors, rattle any windows or knock any plates out of the cubbard - just a smooth low growl worthy of 381 horses. I like the Borla dual system and it sounds about right, but both it and the TRD are very pricey. How much did you lay out for you zoomers, and any chance you can show a pciture of the exhaust tip? One final question - what about any perceived increase in power, throttle response or MPG???? :ts: Tundra57 10-12-2007, 07:15 PM Hey BlueStreaker, Nice pics, I never see and hear name Zoomers before, do u have video for sound of zoomers?? Is zoomers sound very loud ?? I had hooker areo chamber for my old silverado 5.3L, it very loud. but i sold it. I dont like it. anyway. I just wonder inscrease power, improve mpg up?? do u have more pics for this?? 07rcsb5.7 10-12-2007, 07:29 PM I have some zoomers clips and k&n sound clips. Just search them and you will find them. Zoomers is not to loud and sounds good. espy24 02-20-2008, 11:43 PM I just purchased and installed a hooker areo chamber muffler. I got the dual 2 1/2 inlet and single 2 1/2 outlet and kept the stock pipes. I think it sounds great especially when I step on it. All together I spent $80 on the muffler and $150 on the tip and insallation. Koldsimer 02-21-2008, 07:03 AM I join site one day I do search I find super setup for my truck it super loud and fast! All thanks to searching for info. jacksprat 02-21-2008, 08:17 AM Grammar.

you internet english teachers need to get a life. The guy is legally deaf cut him some slack. And even for those who arent but dont type in complete or coherent sentences, who cares as long as they get their point across. jacksprat 02-21-2008, 08:20 AM BlueStreaker- does your engine start? your air flow sensor is mounted backwards on the Volant.... Shouldn't there be a comma after deaf? |
