I have 90k on my Avalon now. Does anyone know if I have a belt or chain?. What is the service interval? Thanks Rob D.

TX RN 12-07-2007, 11:59 AM Agreed. It used to be 65,000 miles for belt change. I had a 97' T-100 with the 3.7 V-6. It was changed at 65,000 by the dealer. Never had any problems with it. It is worth the peace of mind. I would also service/replace the water pump now. Good luck... | |
