Hey all,
I think there has been some discussion about c-rich as a car broker to bring USA vehicles up to Canada. Just wanted you to know that weird stuff seems to be going on.
A friend (who I referred to this guy) had a deal going, then the engine immobilizer thing came up, now it's OK to import again, but he drastically raised his price over what was originally quoted. Raised the price so much it is not worth importing the vehicle. Another friend I referred to him couldn't even get calls back. So anyways, what I am getting at is do your homework if you're looking at using him.

In order to import from the U.S., would you need a conventional loan? Like a line of credit?

I'm going to assume a U.S. dealer wouldn't give a loan or a lease to somebody living in Canada.

You need to show up with $$$ or wire them in advance. However you get the money it is still WAY cheaper to get a vehicle south of the 49th. A buddy just picked up a Tundra in the states basically identical to mine and paid $12k less than me...
