i got this cable in hopes of being able to hook it up through the VTR of my eclipse avn5435 and watch videos but it doesn't.
i tried it with my Tv in the house and it works (even though i couldb't listen to regular music through my playlist), i was able to watch and listen to videos on the tv.
i took it to my car and plugged it into my eclispe but nothing.
i haven't hooked up the speakers in my car so i cannot tell whether or not any audio is coming out. but shouldn't the video show up on the eclipse screen even so.
someone who has used this should please advise. is there some setting i need to enable on the eclipse?
please advise.

I have the exact same Eclipse.I also have the Zen W media player and it plays perfectly.No, nothing special you have to do just connect it in the back of the unit and press VTR.Thats it!!

i figured it out. my praking brake wire was not grounded hence video not showing. i grounded it and all is fine.

Yeah I know, already bought one from him.I was going to enlighten you but.......It took about 3 disk before I got one that worked without freezing alot.

The IPC-106 does not output video! The only way to get your videos to play from your ipod is to hook the ipod to the VTR input using a composite video/audio cable.
