Just wondering if anyone who has the Eclipse 6610 with the bypass harness(for the digital amp), had any problems with the BT-E600 (eclipse parrot bluetooth). Its a very easy plug and play installation, but for some reason the bluetooth wont work (I have tried 2 new ones). Crutchfield (where I purchased it) has no explanation of why they wont work. My only thought is that the bypass harness is somehow interfering. I doubt that I would get two new ones that dont work, but I guess it is possible. Anyone have any thoughts? I am thinking of having the amp removed and having the speakers rewired. I hate having the bluetooth in my ear, and really want this one for the 6610 to work. :faint:

I have a similar problem with the 6620 deck. Whenever I have the Parrot plugged in, I cant turn my speakers up very loud or they will get very distorted. Do you have a resolution to the problem yet?

Actually yes. I took it to circuit city to have the digital amp removed and to have all the wiring redone with all new speakers. For some reason the smart harness that comes with the bluetooth wasnt working correctly with the bypass harness for the jbl amp. After I got it back and the bluetooth was working correctly, he told me that bluetooth wasnt getting signal to the stock speaker (everything else was working correctly), so he spliced directly (bypassing the bypass harness) into the drivers side front speaker. Saved me over $300 and everything works great. Hope this helps for your situation.

I Bypassed my amp and removed it a long time ago I could have Told you JBl is lame. Toyota charges a mint on this crap and it's beyond good.Im glad your BT work's I love mine on my Navigation it's built into the system. One of the reasons I didn't buy an Eclispe because at the time Bt wasn't offered and Toyota uses them. plus with Eclispe the lcd screen didn't have a good quality screen like the Pioneer does.
