Hey Everybody -

Tried looking in the past posts for this information but couldnt find it so Im posting now. Im finally nearing the life of the pads on my 2006 DoubleCab. I do want to put back on Toyota OEM pads but not sure if i need to get new rotors as well. Currently the truck brakes very smooth, with no vibration or shudder. I know that some pads have a procedure to get the film transfered to the rotor, but not sure if this is the case if im putting the same pad on the rotor. I'll get new rotors if I have to but feel like if I dont need to it can go to gas!

Thanks for all your help guys!

If you have no vibration or pulsation then your rotors are likely smooth and runout free. Just put the pads on. Just be sure to torque the wheels when they go back on and clean and adjust the rear brakes.
