I really like the look of 35x12.50s on 9 or 10 inch rims, but want to get one of the narrower size 275/64r20 (34.6" tall and 11" wide and 71 lbs) since they are 10 lbs lighter per tire and will rub less. Do you think I can achieve the same proportions and good looks when looking from the side of the truck with one of the narrower sizes on an 8.5 or 9" rim?

I've got the 3" fox oem replacement shocks so I should be able to squeeze in

Hopefully a picture exists that can decide this so I can quite wondering if it will come out looking weird or just not as good, proportions wise and how it sits on the rim. Here's the look I want, think it will look as good? :) thanks.

Hey man those tires are sweet no matter what sizes your dealing with. I just got home about an hour ago from the tire shop and they put 275/70/18 on my stock TRD wheels. I don't have a lift or anything and they seem to fit just perfectly for me.

I will try to post some pics tomorrow if you think it would help you at all.

If you could post some pics that would be great for me. I am wanting to run that same tire on my stock TRD wheels too.:ts:

I will post some up tomorrow. It was too dark when I got home this evening.

Sure, post em up, but I'd really like to see the 275/65r20 or even the 285/75r18. for some reason, they are impossible to find in a pic. Thanks!

Sorry for the crappy pics, this was in a hurry on my way out this morning.

Truck looks great. How do the Toyo MT's ride and what is the road noise like? I put Toyo M55's on my work truck and they are suppose to be louder than the MT's, but I did not notice much difference from the stock tires.:ts:

The fastest I went with them today was about 55 MPH and they are louder than the stock Rugged Trails for sure, but it was not annoying to me or my passengers at all.

I can't comment on the ride and handling yet. I had to tow a trailer all day today so no fast cornering or anything.:(

Ride is stiffer but still very good and the road noise is about the best, if not the best of any mud terrain out there. Great Tire, the 12.50's do get a little slick when it's snowpacked and icy.... sipping may help that but I didn't want mine sipped because of all the gravel I travel. I run BFG AT KO 305/65's when it's slick and the MT's for the other 8-9 months of the year. The MT's also wear great.... Have about 25k on mine and there's still about 60-75% tread depth on them.
