Is it possible to add an aftermarket siren to the factory alarm (RS 3200 in my case) so that when the horns sound as the alarm triggers, a siren can also sound? I saw the pulse triggers on www.davidnavone.com and thought that it might somehow be possible to do this. It would make my alarm distinctive from my neighbor's so I don't think it's my alarm when it's really his.

1. is this really an issue? that your neighbors or your alarm goes off so much that you have to be able to tell? if an alarm is going off, the whole point is to draw attention so why not go look to see? im sure u would want it to be that way if urs was going off and you'd want him to come out and check if he heard one...

2. if u want to be different and to keep problems down, just get some loud train horns or air horns. that'll set you apart.

3. if u really want something worthwhile, get a whole aftermarket alarm.

alarms are kinda worthless anyway. no one pays attention to them. (see 1 above)

Yea, this is a viable request. If the horn is honking along with a siren, I think more folks may see what is going on.

Try a Directed Electronics 515R -- it should work just fine and meet your needs.

Not sure I agree with hooking up your horn and siren in all cases -- if I tied my Stebels to the alarm, it'd probably piss-off the folks to the point they'd kick the truck.... different problem, but consequential effects to consider....
