Anybody ever try to bring a newer Hilux into Canada or even the US?
I know you gotta make it good for our roads (ie - up to our standards), but has anybody done this with an 04/05/06/07/08?
I have seen older ones...

Hey Ric,
I'm right below you here on this Forum. Pretty tough bunch on here. I think we both have interesting topics but maybe they all seen it before or think we should seek higher authority.
From a layman perspective have you checked with the Motor Vehicle people up in Canada, if so what did they say?
I say three cheers to the brotherhood of this forum and maybe this will get some activity for both of us going. hahaha, kidding guy's and ladies.

Hey Ric, You might try posting your message on ToyotaNations a much more active site for all Toyota's. This site is geared at Tundra's and Out of Production Trucks and SUV's is a losing sidebar. Seems like the few people that do come on here view but don't post much at all. It's almost like there lost in the Twilight Zone. So google ToyotaNations and come alive with some real action. The rest of you here go back to your NAP.

Importation of vehicles into Canada from countries other than the United States (http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/importation/impxus_e.htm)
Ouch, but again, do check with RIV before attempting to import a hilux from outside the US or Canada!
