Hi

Ive got a TRD supercharger on my regular cab 2007 tundra and im looking to add more boost, I dont know if anyone noticed but the supercharger pulley is a 2.45 pulley i got it down to a 2.3 but I dont want to go smaller than that im worried the belt will start slipping. The supercharger only blows 5psi with the long tubes on the stock pulley. I need to get a larger underdrive pulley made any idea how I can get one.?

P.S before you start warning me about the tranny and Engine they have been built for boost

how much boost and power are you wanting to get? were did you find parts to build the engine with?

I had a custom balancer made for my 408cid Blown Mustang from here---> Balancer (http://www.bhjdynamics.com/). Maybe you can spin everything faster with a different crank pulley, They might be able to do a S/C pulley too.
Talk to TS member GADGET... he owns URD and may have a hook up for another S/C pulley.

ASP RACING 1-877-928-8678 (http://www.aspracing.com/index.html) I had these guys build me a crank pulley for 9psi on my truck (paid around $200) and it came balanced also.

Lextreme is building the engine
IPT built the transmission
The boost level is determined by how much the supercharger can Blow :D
Im also planning to add NOS and methenanol but that depends on how smart my tuner is.

Ill try contacting these guys to get the crank pulley made I already made the supercharger pulleys but since its 2.45 stock even at 2.3 I noticed some slipage. :td:

Im currently running 7-8 psi with the long tubes on.

do you have any specification on what is being done to the engine like rods, crank, head work.....?

Its basically a short block assemblly with custom rods crank and pistons and arp bolts.

it should be a 6.0l kit

I havent received it yet thats why I need to make the custom underdrive pulley to push it to over 12 psi while running that bottom end.

Wow- keep up posted, I'd love to see what your truck will do at the track.

What did IPT do with the trans? I thought you could control most anything with programming including shift pouints and shift firmness on these new units..

Valve bodies are fully modified and calibrated to provide quick, positive shifts
High Energy Friction Clutches Installed in all Locations
Modified Pressure Control Electronics Installed
Lock up system is revised to improve converter clutch application, clamping force and torque holding capacity.
Lube system is redesigned to prevent geartrain failure and to increase lube flow
Pump is modified to provide increased pressure and volume
Planetaries and mating sun and ring gears are cryogenically treated
Splines are heat treated to prevent stripping
Thats what it says on there website the issue with programming is I havent found a way to program the tundras transmission the only programming the unichip does is to the fuel map.

i have been talking with a pcs transmissions about getting one set up to control the 6 speed from the new tundras. they are sure the controller could handle it they just have to get everything interred in so you only tune when it shifts... i need it for my project so i am really trying to push for them to do it.
ill let you know if they end up working with me on this.
how is your engine coming?

i think they would be more likely to do the controller if they get some more interest from more people. so anyone interested give me a shout and ill tell pcs.

You can count me in. That is my only thing left performance wise I REALLY want to happen. I am in FOR SURE!!

just wanted to let every one know that today PCS said they would do the controller for the six speed automatic from the tundra. they have the controller that can handle the transmission they are just getting it all programmed to work correctly with this trans. i will be talking with them tomorrow to see how long they estimate until it would be ready. Im hoping in less then a month.

Even without a major engine build in front of it, it would be nice to have the 1-2 short shift removed and a little more shift firmness, even on a stock motor.

the controller is fully programmable. you control what rpm it shifts when the torque converter engages, trailer mode... and so on,

Is the programmer an add-on or piggyback to the stock ecu, so us 'OEM'ers can run them too?

it is a stand alone ecu but they say it will work with oem controllers. this is the site www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com

(supefish) do you have any updates on the stroker kit? also just wondering your transmission work you had done on your truck about how much is that i might be interested if its not to much.

I talked to usermane Lextreme the other day. The 6.0 Tundra engine was for a buyer in the UK...It looks pretty cool. Google Lextreme and check out their parts section...
