I installed a Banks Monster Exhuast(single). I did the install in about 1 hour(no ramps or lift) or it would have taken even less time, VERY simple install, easy to follow instructions and everything fit perfectly. The exhaust sounds GREAT, I wouldn't call it quiet, but it is not loud, nice low throaty rumble. :D

Any sign of drone while cruising on the highway, very light throttle around 1800 rpm?

Kinda hard to hear without a sound clip!!:) I have one on my 06 DC and it gets better after break in, it's not a flow master but i did not want anything that loud. I have a sound clip in my album!

Sorry about no sound clip( hell, I'm not even sure how to do one), been raining here non-stop all day. Plus I spent too many hours hand washing and waxing that damn truck to take it out and get it all messy right away.;) I didn't even get a chance to get it out on the highway and see how it sounds at 70-75mph. It did sound very tame cruising at 55mph though, no drone!

Banks Power | BankspowerTV - exhaust: Toyota Tundra (http://bankspower.com/videos/show/56-exhaust-toyota-tundra)
You would think they could take it to a track but it sounds nice anyway!

I heard a Monster the other day, first hand. The exhaust was right in the open window of my truck as we drove between stop lights, so I heard it at idle and under normal acceleration in traffic.

I asked the driver and he said he had the entire intake, intercooler and exhaust kit.

It was amazingly mellow and quiet. Impressive, indeed.

In fact........the exhaust was almost drowned-out by the rattling V8 of the F-250.

Just finished installing Banks Monster exhaust on my 06 Tundra Access Cab. It took me about 1.5 hours as I struggled taking the factory exhaust out and I did the install by myself without raising the truck. The hardest part was unhooking the old exhaust from 3 hanger locations. Installing the new one took only about 30 minutes. It helps to use lubricant to remove the rubber grommet from hangers. I haven't driven the car yet but I did start the engine. Wow, it sounds amazing at idle and WOT. I've noticed deeper rumbling noise inside the vehicle with doors shut and windows rolled up. I think I gained few horsepower from how freely the engine revs now. After I take a shower, I'm going to head out for a test drive and eat some good lunch. Oh, and I have True Flow intake system on my truck already (not just the drop-in filter but with True Flow intake tube) so those two mods should work together well.

I am seriously considering the Banks single on my 08. Are you still liking the sound?, after break in?

Hey guys, I dropped the "S" shaped tailpipe because it was clear I was losing power and installed in its place a 2.75" factory piping from a GM truck with it's factory resonator. Man, the power has returned and more. I've been running this setup for about 4 months and the performance is very consistent. The sound is great and there's no drone at all. I enjoy driving with the windows down again. I've finally found the right tailpipe run to match my banks exhaust after spending more money on tailpipes configurations than on the exhaust system itself. Lol.
