This is an installation of Bi Xenon HID kit I did on my '05 Sequoia. It took about an hour to do because I can be very anal retentive about the way I run my cables and how it looks. If you have any questions feel free to email me. I went with the Bi Xenon because I got a very good deal on it.
Tools needed:
HID kit (Bi Xenon or Lo HID/ Hi halogen) Personal preference
Phillips screw driver
Flat tip scredriver
Wire cutters (To cut the zip tie excess)
Electrical tape
Drill with 9/64 drill bit or you can use double sided tape
Patience and time
Disconnect the positive and negative battery terminals and remove the battery. (I didn't take any pics because I figured you know how to do this)
Remove the headlights and side marker light housings. There are 4 screws total. In order to reach one of the screws you have to remove the side marker housing first. Once you remove all the crews just give it a good tug and it should come off.

If you have DRLs and bought the Bi Xenon HID kit you want to disable/ remove your DRLs. If you don't it can burn out your HIDs. If you like having your DRLs you can buy an HID kit with HID lo and halogen hi. By the way your Sequoia uses an H4 bulb or kit.

On the passenger's side I removed the air filter canister and ran the cables from the ballast under the air filter canister for a cleaner look and less of a cable cluster.

If you buy the Bi Xenon HID kit you only need to plug into the driver's side headlight plug. You don't need the passenger's side plug. This is why I decided to tape it up.

Once you make all the connections. Make sure the air filter canister doesn't interfere with the HID kit wires. Zip tie any lose cables and tidy up the area. Re-install the air filter canister.

Now make all conncetions on the driver's side just like you did on the passenger's side. You also have the relay that connects to the factory headlight plug. Once you make all the connections zip tie all cables and tidy the area up. You can go ahead and replace the headlight and side marker light.

I took my time doing this because I wanted to make sure the ballast were mounted where I wanted and that it would look as OEM as possible and didn't want a bunch of wires all over the place. I will take pictures when it gets dark.
Good luck! :tu:
