Sorry if this has been covered before, I didn't readily see it. But my question is, I have an '08 Tundra 5.7L with the Supercharger and was curious if the TRD exhaust would just give me a better sound, or does it help it breath better and add performance too?
Thanks!

It does provide a slightly less restrictive exhaust. Tests I have read offer a small improvement in power (3-5 hp at the tires) which could probably be extrapolated to 6-8 hp more for the supercharged version due to the higher flow requirement. TRD exhausts are louder than stock but only slightly.

Great, thanks! So it sounds like not much (if any) would be gained by doing it... that's what I was thinking, but wanted to check. At this point it might not matter as something has changed, and I may end up having to sell the truck :( . THANK YOU!

We had a supercharged Tundra with stock exhaust and then had a customer come in that had the TRD Exhaust and we installed the charger onto his Tundra. I have to say that the difference sure felt like much more than 8 hp. It was so different I immediately called TRD to see why we felt so much of a difference and I got some good chuckles and response of "yeah, you noticed huh?". It really opened the truck up so now I recommend it to everyone that gets a charger.

I would recommend Corsa with SC. Very nice combo. And very high quality system!:tu: for same mony as TRD.
No drone with Corsa!
With TRD ehaust some people notice the drone at 65-70mph range.
Corsa is also less restrictive. They claim better numbers even without SC.
I would love to see some numbers from them with SC;)
