You may recall an earlier thread of mine where I was having problems with streaking. I am finding the DG Aquagloss to be the biggest culprit.

The only way I can get that stuff to go on smoothly is to buff the crap out of it with a micro or, preferably, a soft sheep or something.

I'm spraying on and whiping once with a micro, then going back and buffing smooth. The Aquagloss is certainly durable, which makes it hard to buff.

Maybe I need a better or dryer micro during the initial spray/wipe procedure?

I do notice the extra shine, but it's more labor intensive than I was expecting a spray on product to be.

Thats funny, I just AW'd my truck in about 5 min, it's one of the easiest products I have ever used.

What sort of Microfibers are you using? Sometimes the cheaper ones make any product streak.

Green ones from Pep Boys - I don't remember the brand.

I did my white 4Runner today, and didn't notice it as much. But then, on white, it's hard to see imperfections to start with.

My tundra is nautical blue, and I find that I have to be flawless in my application of product or I can easily see differences in shine and depth across the body. My wife's black subaru isn't even as picky as my truck.

With the aquagloss specifically, I spray it on, and then wipe it off with the micro. This leaves a damp film which beads on top of the 105 or whatever other wax I finished with.

The beads dry into streaks which do buff out into a beautiful gloss, but it takes a lot of labor.

I think I'm either over-saturating or not getting enough of the wet spray off of the surface. Next time I am going to use a bigger micro or more of them so they stay dryer as I wipe.

I'd say try using less product and maybe pick up some better MF's. The normal ones arent horrible, but Cobra from Autogeek would be much better.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but what are you washing your microfiber towels with? They should be washed with odorless, fabric softener free, bleach free liquid detergent. I use buy the stuff for people with allergies, and wash them by themselves... dont mix them in with your daily laundry.

And be sure not to use fabric softener sheets when you dry them, that will cause microfiber towels to leave streaks.

If youre washing them correctly then I'm not sure what else could be causing the streaks...... unless it's the towels like Brandon said.
