I am pretty sure that the trd sway bar will work on lowered whips. How lowered are you? Everytime I think about lowering my truck, we flood. TRDSPARKS.com is where I got mine. He is also a member on here. Great customer service!!

Might check Hellwig. I had a 3/4 drop on a Chevy a few years ago that had Hellwig front and rear sway bars, of course these Tundras are different animals...

I think it has something to do with the extentions that connect to the truck?

Well I finially got the sway bar on my lowered tundra and man it wasn't easy. With all the mods you had to do, trying to figure out what went were and how. But in the end it was worth it. That truck handles around curves like flies on glue paper.

Sweet!! Wait till you hit a u-turn at 60...dude I love mine!! So those tundra racing endlinks worked? What all did you have to do to make it work??

Well I had to noch out for the welds on the axle because these when next to the axle instead of under neath, then had to remove the bushing out of the trd bars and put them in the tundra racing bars, then had to guess the way the tundra racing bars went in because they were offset(two way to put them in) lucky I got them right the first time, and might I say all of this in the rain and in the dark 7:00 at night, then got to tighen all the bolts up to species with no room to move a tork wrench. And I had to cut off my exhaust to make it work because it fell right where the bar went down to connect the sway bar. But even after all that it's still worth it.

Our sway bar for the 1st gen Tundra can accommodate a 2" drop. For more than a 2" drop, we can swap out the lower half of the end link to a shorter link for up to a 5" drop.

The 2nd gen sway bar (2007+ Tundra) can take about a 2" drop if you de-arch the springs. Any more than that and our bar or the TRD bar will not work due to the way Toyota installed the springs. The springs are angled in at the back and the bar won't clear the spring with big drops where the axle is installed on top of the spring.

Try the ADDCO sway it fits on TOP of the rear axle...shouldn't be any clearence problems unless "your" body is lowered on the frame.... Good luck, CSM-H

I purchased the trd sway bar for the 07-11 tundra. Took my endlinks and got the machine shop to cut them down...I believe it was 3-4 inches that was cut off...drilled a hole in each rod, stuck a dowel pin in them and then welded it back..grinded it smooth and painted to match. Looks like oem. Or you could just buy the kit from tundraracing.com...but I couldnt see spending the additional money.

Question guys how long is your trd sway bar's end links in the sway bar kit (pn/ PTR11-34070)?

The reason I'm asking is maybe the end links is the trd lowering kit are shorter as mine are 12 1/2 inches long.

I'd really appreciate some pics. The addco bar might interfere with some exhaust systems, too. If you're lowered and have a sway bar, please post pics. I have 2/4 drop, Corsa Sport exhaust, air shocks, and traction bars to contend with. I'd love to add a rear sway bar, but have lots of stuff for it to fight with over real estate back there.

Cool. That will clear my Corsa tailpipe, but would have been in the way for the custom pipe I did have on there. Thanks for the pics!
