v8 tundra when started cold makes a buzzing sound from the top of the motor sounds like back of the intake . very high pitch. when the high idle goes off it goes away. truck runs fine. no code lights set. it blowing my mind . help please.

How cold was it? Some whining noises on very cold start is normal.

I'm having the same issue. It's about 40 degrees here but it's been in the 0's lately. Mine whining sound seems like it's more of a clutch fan or bearing issue. Any thoughts?
