My wife is buying a new Sienna minivan and has agreed to buy an aftermarket navigation system instead of the Toyota factory installed system.
She wants Toyota option package 3 which includes the DVD entertainment system. What type of video input does the built-in Toyota video screen have? Is it RCA or proprietary to Toyota?

After doing some research, it appears that it would be best to purchase both the LCD screen and GPS navigation system as aftermarket components - since most of the in-dash navigation systems include a DVD player.

Why not go to In dash car GPS navigation-Car Sat Nav-Car Multimedia Entertainment System (http://www.ChinaCarGPS.com) for consulting the suitable GPS for your wife ? They offer LCD DVD player for brands of cars. It is a believable company .

I installed the Eclipse AVN726E Navigation (doubledin) in our Toyota Sienna XLE 2011. See blog for it on DIY: How I put aftermarket Navigation Eclipse AVN726E into Toyota Sienna 2011 (http://alexapps.net/Articles/ToyotaSiennaAftermarketNavigation/Default.aspx)
