HI! I'm new here. Need your help with the installation of a Prodigy brake controller on my 2006 Tundra crewcab. The problem I have is finding the pre-wire harness for the controller. Toyota has it hidden somewhere to the left of the emergency brake. I purchased the Toyota specific wire harness for the Prodigy controller so I'm ready to go as soon as I can find the pre-wire. :)

If you have the tow package, you are looking in the right spot. It's a white connector (obviously like the one you have for the controller). What I didn't know when I hooked mine up is that the end you are looking for in the kick panel already has something plugged in to it, I assume it's a dummy. I unplugged what I thought was the right one and sure enough my controller plug fit in it and worked like a charm. I don't recall having to remove any tape to expose it, but it is possible, it's been over a year now.
